Mountain Biking
Bike the best kept secret in Cabo Pulmo.
Locals have created dozens of miles of single-track trails, winding up and around Cabo Pulmo’s biggest mountain. The views are spectacular, and in winter months you can catch humpback breaching off shore. You can rent mountain bikes next door at Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort.

To get to the trails, walk or bike to the new road that’s been built part way up the mountain. At the end of the road, climb the ridge to the top. This hike is not for the out-of-shape or the faint-of-heart as parts of the upper reaches are steep.
The second trail circles the tall mountain. Ask a local or our friendly staff for directions. From VILLA & CASA DEL MAR and EL NIDO walk/bike due west along the beach access road and continue until you are opposite the two large water tanks on the hill. It’s sometimes difficult to see where the trail starts, but it will head north about a quarter mile past the water tanks and turn north then circle the mountain and put you back onto the road you drove in on.
